The member who converted the reels to MP3 wrote (7 Sept 2018):
"I finally found
the time to split up the full recordings by speaker into their own separate
files as well as make sure that all the files are renamed and provided a
detailed index in a Word document. With regards to the files recorded at the FOT
1957, I looked up what the dates of the Feast would have been by going to a
website that specifies Jewish holiday dates in 1957 and made sure that the file
names reflect the correct dates during the Feast. For example, the tape that
says it’s of the 1st Day
of the FOT actually has two sermons on it—both of HWA. However, the first sermon
was recorded the night before which we call “Opening Night” and the second one
was the first service of the next day. There was no date on the box. It only has
“1st Day FOT”. So, after
checking a Jewish holiday website for 1957, I calculated it by the date of Rosh
Hashanna being 26/9/57. This means that the 1st
Day of the Feast is 2 weeks after Trumpets on the same day of the week which
would make it the 10th
Oct and Opening Night the 9th.
This also told me the correct date for the LGD.
