  1. Who can find a virtuous woman?
     She's worth more than gems of great price.
     Trust is hers from the heart of her husband;
     She does him well each day of her life.
     Favor's deceitful; beauty is vain.
     She shall be praised who fears the Lord.
     Give her the fruits of her own labor;
     Yes, let her works give her praise in the gates.
  2. Who can find a virtuous woman?
     Wool and flax she seeks for her work.
     Willingly busy, her hands hold the distaff;
     All plainly see her product is good.
     Clothing her fam'ly, dressing them well
     She is prepared for winter and cold.
     Her gen'rous spirit teaches the needy;
     Many do well, but she excels all.
  3. Who can find a virtuous woman?
     Bringing food like ships from afar.
     Early she rises and serves a warm breakfast;
     Planning the day with loving concern.
     Daybreak to nightfall, ev'ry day counts;
     Meeting each challenge finding success.
     Planning a vineyard, selling to merchants,
     Serving her fam'ly in ev'ry respect.
  4. Who can find a virtuous woman?
     Helpful kindness guides all her words.
     Honor and strength five her cause for rejoicing.
     Husband and child give praise that is due.
     Favor's deceitful, beauty is vain.
     She shall be praised who fears the Lord.
     Give her the fruits of her own labor;
     Yes, let her works give her praise in the gates.
