 1. How good and how pleasant for brethren to dwell
    together in unity, so David did tell;
    Like beautiful music, a breathtaking view,
    like most precious ointment, like fresh morning dew
    That descended on the mountains of Zion long before;
    God commanded a blessing of life for evermore.
    How good and how pleasant for brethren to be
    Dwelling safely together in sweet harmony.

 2. Now Jesus was praying with fervent desire
    that all who believe in His great name might be one.
    With voices united, together we stand,
    at peace with the heavenly Father and Son.
    When we come into the knowledge and unity of God,
    And we grow and we follow the steps that Jesus trod,
    How good and how pleasant for brethren to be
    Dwelling safely together in sweet harmony.

 3. One body, one spirit, one Lord and one faith,
    One holy Creator God, the Father of all;
    One baptism picturing life evermore,
    One hope and salvation, just as we are called.
    Like the dew that had descended from Zion long before,
    God commanded a blessing of life forevermore.
    How good and how pleasant for brethren to be
    Dwelling safely together in sweet harmony.
