1. Did I awake spiritual, in happy prayerful attitude, and was I watchful to keep my mind from wandering this morning?
2. Have I this day kept my mind clean, my thoughts and contemplations on “the things above,” in continuous happy, positive, prayerful attitude?
3. Have I, as a “babe in Christ,” partaken three times today of spiritual food, by submissive Bible study and earnest prayer ALONE with God? Have I grown closer to God? Have I GROWN today in grace and knowledge?
4. Have I walked by FAITH, asking God for wisdom and guidance in all things, committing every little problem to Him, trusting Him with it?
5. Have I exercised self-discipline, denying impulse, doing what God’s Word shows I ought to do instead of what I WANTED to do?
6. Was my speech and conversation today kind, cheerful, soft?
7. Have I exercised patience today? Have I been charitable toward others, showing tolerance and love, or resentment, jealously, anger?
8. Have I, while putting spiritual interests FIRST, been diligent in performing regular material duties today, doing my VERY BEST?
9. Have I made the most of my time, or been weakened by unwatchfulness?
10.What have I done for God’s work and for others? Have I spent anything today to please self that might have been saved for God’s cause?

According to the Bible, herbs are not for health freaks. “He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth,” Psalm 104:14. “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat,” Genesis 1:29.
Famous people have likewise touted the use of herbs. “When correctly used, herbs promote the elimination of waste matter and poisons from the system by simple, natural means. They support nature in its fight against disease. . . . The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease,” Thomas A. Edison. “Your food shall be your medicine, and your medicine shall be your food,” Hippocrates, “father” of medicine.
Jethro Kloss, author of the famous herb and natural remedy book, Back to Eden, said, “All the science of ancient Egypt when it was in its glory, and the science of ancient Babylon when it was at its height, the wisdom of Solomon when he lived in obedience to God, and the science and knowledge of this enlightened age as taught in the colleges and universities, does not equal the science in nature, and yet it is little understood by the most intelligent people. Black Hebrew Israelites: Racists of a Different Color
Most are familiar with “White Supremacist” groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, Aryan Nations, etc. On the other side of the spectrum, just as pernicious, are “Black Supremacist” groups. According to the Apologetics Index, “Black Hebrew” supremacist groups include The Stream, Original African Hebrew Israelite Nation of Jerusalem, Yahweh Ben Yahweh, New York Yahweh, etc. In many ways, Black Hebrew Israelite beliefs are a mirror image of the white supremacist Christian Identity religion, which holds that northern Europeans, not Jews, are God’s true chosen people. Both see Jews as the spawn of Satan and accuse them of secretly controlling society by Machiavellian string-pulling. Tom Metzger, leader of the White Aryan Resistance, has said, “They’re the black counterpart of us.”
Black Hebrews believe the descendants of American slaves and the indigenous peoples of the Americas make up the twelve tribes of Israel. They expect to some day return to Israel (which they call “Northeast Africa”). Adherents reject black Africans, who are usually seen as “traitors” who sold their black brethren into slavery. The origins of the Black Hebrew Israelite religion may stretch back to before the Civil War. “The racism, paranoia, and millenialism that they [Black Hebrew Israelites] have is very flammable,” says Suliman Nyang, an expert at Howard University. “They want to take on the entire system, the entire world that they think is evil and against them. The line between reality and imagination doesn’t exist for them,” (Southern Poverty Law Center, Intelligence Report, Fall 1997).
The FBI reports that segments of the BHI have been associated with extreme acts of violence in the recent past, and current intelligence from a variety of sources indicates that extreme factions of Black Hebrew Israelite groups are preparing for a race war.
Drawing upon the teachings of earlier BHI adherents, such groups hold that blacks represent God’s true “chosen people,” while condemning whites as incarnate manifestations of evil. As God’s “authentic” Jews, BHI adherents believe that mainstream Jews are actually imposters. Such beliefs bear a striking resemblance to the Christian Identity theology practiced by many white supremacists. Like their Christian Identity counterparts, militant BHI followers tend to see themselves as divinely endowed by God with superior status. As a result, some followers of this belief system hold that violence, including murder, is justifiable in the eyes of God, provided that it helps to rid the world of evil. As seen in previous convictions of BHI followers, adherents of this philosophy have a proven history of violence, and several indications point toward a continuation of this trend. Some BHI members practice paramilitary operations and wear web belts and shoulder holsters. Some adherents have extensive criminal records for a variety of violations, including weapons charges, assault, drug trafficking, and fraud.
“Black Supremacist” groups are just as wrong as “White Supremacist” groups. May the Messiah return to establish His Kingdom on this earth, so that all races will live in peace, mutual respect, and harmony.
