Thank you for your recent inquiry in which you asked us to recommend a good Bible commentary.

We know of no commentary which elaborates on the Bible perfectly. Nonetheless, a number of useful ones are available. Often the choice depends on one's personal needs and preferences.

Single-volume commentaries include "Harper's New Testament Commentary," the "New Century Commentary," "The New International Commentary," the "New Bible Commentary, Revised," and "Tyndale's Bible Commentary."

Multivolume commentaries are the "Expositor's Commentary," "Clarke's Commentary," "Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown's Critical and Experimental Commentary," and the "Soncino Commentary" (Old Testament only).
